Expect the unexpected at the Tryon Palace Museum Store. Located in the North Carolina History Center, the Museum Store offers a wide assortment of specialty products, including books, food, plants, pottery and fine crafts, jewelry, tabletop objects, toys and more.
And the best part? You don't need a ticket to shop. Just come to the North Carolina History Center for a day of retail therapy on the waterfront.

Home and Garden: Working with our Curator of Gardens, we have assembled a collection of Tryon Palace heirloom flower and vegetable seeds, live plant materials and floral décor that reflect our gardens.
Art: Our curators have also advised on our collection of 18th- and 19th-century botanical print reproductions, which join our other works of decorative and fine art.
Books: The definitive selection on New Bern history, North Carolina history, African American history, local gardening, and Southern cooking. Other book topics include coastal living, birding, colonial history, archiectural history, and books by New Bern authors.
Food: An expanded selection of the best North Carolina foods, along with specialty condiments, locally roasted coffee, colonial teas, and more.
Pottery: Pottery from local craftsmen, as well as from the famous Seagrove, N.C. region.
Jewelry: Featured jewelry from local artisans.
For Your Pleasure: A wonderful variety of specialty soaps, lotions, candles, hostess gifts and more.
