Every third Friday of the month, a member of the Tryon Palace historical interpretation or collections team will lead a lunch lecture about people, events, and trends in history that relate to New Bern. This month take a look at some of the myths and legends surrounding George Washington in honor of the anniversary of our first president's 1791 Southern Tour.
This monthly brownbag lunch series will be held in the North Carolina History Center.
Tickets for each event are $6 per person and free for Tryon Palace Foundation members. Each Lunch and Learn will begin at noon and guests will meet in Mattocks Hall inside the North Carolina History Center. No food or beverage is provided.
